Submitting Online Competition Videos
Filmed your test? Need to upload your video? Here is how to send your online competition entry to Lagoballo for judging.
One of the lovely things about an online competition is being able to ride your test in a familiar environment, with your own horse and without the float trip, parking puzzle or traditional competition-day rush.
Once you have entered a Lagoballo online competition, received your test and filmed your performance, the final step is submitting your video for judging.
Because the submission form is available to Lagoballo members, you will be asked to log in before opening it. This keeps competition entries and participant details within the member area.
Before You Submit Your Entry
Your test is available from the relevant event page and is also emailed to you after entry. That email contains the event-specific instructions you need, including guidance for filming and uploading your video.
Before opening the submission form, have the following ready:
Your horse’s name for this test
The size of the riding arena used
Your competition class or level
The YouTube link to your uploaded test
Please follow the video-upload and closing-date guidance supplied in your event email. It is also worth opening your YouTube link once before submitting it to confirm that it leads to the correct video and can be viewed for judging.
How to Submit Your Videoed Test
Log in to your Lagoballo member account.
Open the Online Competition Submission form (navigate via the menu - Blog & Docs > Forms > Online Competition Submission).
Enter your contact details and your horse’s name.
Select the size of the arena used for your test.
Select the correct class or level.
Paste in the YouTube link to your uploaded test.
Check every detail carefully, then select Submit.
Please check your entry before pressing Submit, as competition submissions are final.

What Happens After You Submit?
Your videoed test will be reviewed and judged as part of the relevant online competition.
Depending on the event, riders can look forward to receiving their marked test sheet, score and constructive written feedback, along with competition placings, ribbons and the announcement of results.
Online competition is not only about the final percentage or placing. Your test and feedback give you a useful snapshot of where you and your horse are now, what is developing well and what you can focus on next.
