Private Lesson: Laura Ushay

Service Description

Private one-on-one lessons with Laura (Loz) Ushay. Laura focusses on helping the rider/horse handler understand their position, biometric awareness and how this impacts the horse's fluidity and functionality. She can help with in-hand work, and flat work by working with your ability to identify, feel and improve both horse and rider movements. Laura focusses on the technique of riding movements (such as shoulder-in, renvers, travers, leg yield, half-pass etc.) to help build the horses balance, remove brace and build strength through consistency. She will work with your learning style to ensure a level of understanding that builds confidence, knowledge and skills in your horse partnership. Laura can help you with setting up regular movements/patterns to work on in between lessons to ensure you can continue to progress during this time, and the movements taught empowers the student to enhance feel and encourages looking for opportunities in themselves and their horses. Lessons will be undertaken at your location of choice in the Canberra region (if using a public space/amenity, the student must ensure they have booked for use).
