A message from Ann...

As a coach, I offer a unique and deeply intuitive approach to horse and rider training, guiding you and your horse on a transformative journey toward greater harmony, understanding, and success. Here’s how my approach paves the way for profound improvement:

*Emotional Awareness:*

I attune to the emotional states of both horse and rider, recognizing the subtle interactions that influence their connection. By addressing these emotions, I help create a calmer, more trusting environment that serves as the foundation for all further training.

*Problem-Solving:* I meticulously identify physical and emotional bracing or compensations in both horse and rider, understanding how one influences the other. By getting to the root of these issues, I guide you through resolving them, leading to a more fluid and responsive partnership.

*Biomechanics Expertise:* Leveraging my deep knowledge of equine and human anatomy, I guide riders in developing a more harmonious connection with their horses, focusing on alignment and movement that enhances comfort and performance for both.

*Hands-On Coaching:* My coaching is tactile and interactive, allowing riders to experience the correct form and feel directly. This hands-on approach accelerates learning and fosters a deeper, more instinctive understanding of effective riding.

*Increased Awareness:* I train riders to heighten their observation skills, teaching them to detect and interpret subtle cues from their horses and their own bodies. This heightened awareness leads to more informed decisions and quicker corrections in the moment.

*Mental Focus:* I help riders cultivate a quiet, focused mind, essential for truly hearing and responding to the horse’s feedback. This mental clarity not only enhances communication but also fosters a more centered and balanced riding experience.

*Lightness and Balance:* My coaching emphasizes the lightness of aids and the creation of true balance tailored to your horse’s unique conformation. This focus on finesse leads to a more elegant and effortless performance in the horse.

*Flexible Lessons:* I offer both ridden and in-hand lessons. In-hand work allows you to visually assess your horse’s posture and movement, refining its condition without the constraints of saddle or equipment, and providing a new perspective on your horse's biomechanics.

*Strengthened Relationships:* In-hand lessons not only improve your horse's physical state but also deepen the trust and communication between you and your horse. This approach enhances your timing and the effectiveness of your aids, creating a partnership built on mutual understanding. Whether your goal is to refine your skills in the saddle, improve your horse’s physical condition, or develop a deeper, more intuitive connection with your horse, my coaching provides a clear pathway to achieving greater harmony and success.
